AnonyMouse_35577 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Our holiday club takes children aged 4-11 - I need some exciting science activities to do with them or ones they can do themselves. Please help
AnonyMouse_28686 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 volcanoes are always popular -vinegar and bicarb mixed with food colouring. Usual way is in plastic cups but you can also put some food colour onto plastic spoons then cover with bicarb. laid out on a tray the children can guess what colour it will be when they add the vinegar and it fizzes up. Or put vinegar into a plastic bottle. put some bicarb into a balloon and then fix it over the top of the bottle. once securely on you tip the powder in and it blows up the balloon. Mine all loved that. have fun
