AnonyMouse_9650
Loved the blog - especially as I was the parent helper in my children's classes who did the cooking (they are now 24 and 21) and the cookery was done in the corridor outside the main hall and the oven was out of bounds in the staff room - hygiene and health and safety were all a bit hit and miss then and in the summer we used to contend with the sun beating through the windows and the ant patrol that roamed the hall window cills and in the winter it was always freezing - no matter what the season there were always plenty of spectators as children moved around the school via the hall - however we managed to concoct some marvellous creations - my favourite being a Christmas tree made of star biscuits - ahh the good old days
