Guest
We are just about to start our new topic which is about the United Arab emirates and dhows. I cannot get enthusiastic about it and wondered if anyone has any inspirational ideas?

AnonyMouse_2157
Ok trying to put a positive spin on the learning opportunities that can be had from such (ahem) an interesting topic... What about all the fab K&U & PSED opportunities... find the emirates on globes, world maps, in holiday brochures, the people, their food (yum, yum), the climate Tenuous link to CD with sand paintings, arabian art, ooh flying carpets-making them, talking about where in the world they would go on one (I think there is a book about an old lady who flies around the world in one?) Hope this is of some use Best of luck
