AnonyMouse_19782 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Anyone? Best way to paint the pasta for the necklace.
AnonyMouse_43806 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I usually paint the pasta with a brush and acrylic paint and them rest it on skewers over a box to dry. I use rigatonne as its big enough to thread. Very time consuming but its does work well as a special treat. 1
Guest Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 fill a bowl with water with lots of food colouring in. put pasta tubes in. leave for a while till colour absorbed. drain - keep coloured water for next batch! - leave to drain on kitchen roll
Guest Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 for the children to paint or the adult? We did pasta necklaces last christmas using festive pasta from Lidls (keeping my eye out for some more this year) and I sprayed it with gold, silver and red decorators spray. No residue and dried instantly (more of less) and ready to use
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 i just use food colouring (paste) add to a small amount of water and stir in bowl until covered leave to dry. We do pasta threading a lot! i have a group who love it ...so have been to the italian shop to gets loads of different sorts...spagetti hoop type was a big hit, small macaroni, penne.wheels etc 1
AnonyMouse_1326 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The children usually use felt-tips to colour the pasta then they make the necklaces after
