Hello Everyone

Looking for some advice with regards to archiving information, how long would you keep information on children ,sleep routines ,home agreements etc etc .We are slowly running out of space with years of paperwork piling up (never used again) .We need to make office space quickly .Guidance we have says approx 20 odd years !!!!!!! this is deemed as good practice apparently ?? Can anyone shed any light or a solution even ofsted dont seem to have the answer ??

Thanks in advance x

Some things need keeping more or less for ever including insurance details.

Financial records are seven years I think (not sure on this one, I still have all mine from nearly ten years)

We have been told that registers can be destroyed after two years.

We get rid of sleep checks and nappy records after one month.

We keep food safety checks e.g. temperature probe records for one year.
