snowflake tortillas

Recommended Posts

This week following our patterns theme we made paper snowflakes and then extended this to our snack - using the same principle but with tortilla wraps - the children cut out smaller circles of tortilla and cut just like a paper snowflake and then brushed with a little oil and sprinkled with vanilla sugar and popped into oven for couple of minutes - yummy and crispy - like little biscuits and the sugar went down well too !! just thought i would share with you .

We also used our paper snowflakes to create the backdrop of our display - the children pinned their snowflakes onto to pink paper on board and used rollers to paint over in black - creating more snowflakes - :D

Love this idea...how did you cut them? scissors or knives? and were they easy to get through??
