AnonyMouse_2821 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Hi I just wondered how you can show progress of the children, as a group, who are funded from two? Does anyone have a proforma? Thanks :1b
AnonyMouse_33773 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Do you have to show progress of children as a group? We show individual progress and assume that is enough. If already track progress for other cohorts, e.g. boys or children with EAL, you could probably just add another category - two-year-olds. Can't see the point of it though, if you are attentive to each child's progress, unless it's a requirement by your LA.
AnonyMouse_5970 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 There may well be a requirement from the LA as they are providing the funding for these children so want to see that they are spending their money wisely. Funded two-year-olds are often (though not always) from families living in difficult circumstances or disadvantage so monitoring their progress is also a way of ensuring we are meeting their individual needs. Having said that skippy, sorry I don't have a proforma as we monitor progress through Tapestry and use this to look at our funded two's progress.
Guest Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 If you want to show as a group, sometimes I do this, PRAMS has an assessment on there that will let you do this as well as other things like comparison between one assessment period and another
AnonyMouse_63 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I have used prams to show progression of specific groups and individual children and it's very good. We also discuss these in staff meetings as it gives a good overview of the whole group
