AnonyMouse_22628 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I am pretty certain that I understand most of the development matters but this one always leaves me a little confused. Begins to break down the flow of speech into words. What does this actually mean? :1b
Guest Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I would say that if you were scribing something for a child, e.g. 'this is my mummy' (not the best example!), that the child speaks slow enough for the adult to write the words ... ... "this ... ... is ... ... my ... ... mummy."
Guest Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 or as the child writes they say a word for each mark/letter/squiggle, knowing a word is written for each word spoken
