We are looking for a Peripatetic Nursery Manger to supply cover for maternity leave, long and short term sickness, annual leave etc. throughout Cornwall. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adapt quickly to change. The nature of this role will mean that you may be working in one nursery for 9 months to cover maternity leave and then move around nurseries week to week to cover for holiday. You must have been qualified for at least 2 years with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare, or equivalent. The ability to achieve an outstanding OFSTED inspection as well as possessing excellent management and leadership skills is essential. You must have an awareness of financial management and business management, and experience of using Microsoft applications. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to analyse information and make sound business decisions. At least 5 years of practical experience at a senior level in a childcare establishment, and experience of managing a budget is desirable but not essential.
