Guest Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Has anyone got this book? The Patchwork Quilt - Valerie Flournoy.
AnonyMouse_2732 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Hi there! No I can't say I have, but is it the one where - and my memory is very hazy here - there's some kind of running 'story behind' the story? Sort of showing what's special about each piece. If it is, then I've been trying to track it down for ages!! So, if it is, then thanks for the author!! Sue

Sue 41401[/snapback] Yes it`s about a grandma who has special memories. I have tracked it down with amazon and although it is out of print you can buy it for about £10 which includes postage. Just wondered if it is worth paying £10 for
AnonyMouse_2732 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 If it's the one I'm thinking of, then I'd say yes, but perhaps I'd better look first! Sue
Guest Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 It's not an easy read for little ones, but if you're prepared to tell the story in your own words it may be OK. Not one of my favourites
