Guest Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Easter holiday? What's that? But I'll look forward to my holiday in June when I will drive past schools with children in the playgrounds and think 'Ha! Hurray! I'm not there.' After years of teaching in schools it still feels naughty and nice to be on holiday in term time! Enjoy your hols everyone, whenever they happen. Quote
AnonyMouse_44476 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Boohoo we are still open :-( although do get a nice long weekend and less children so manage to do a bit of catching up! Today I have done numerous Coshh sheets - riveting!!! Quote

AnonyMouse_44476 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Our term finishes a week today! Yep I've printed them all off internet from different suppliers but have had to do the inventory and the advice sheet for safe use which is shared with staff - this is only things classed as hazardous so thankfully only 3 of those I came across! Just the searching, printing, filing that is not super time consuming just boring!!! Quote
AnonyMouse_26037 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 1 more week for me too but am hoping to do lots of lovely Easter activities next week and we'll end with our traditional egg rolling on Friday! Easter service on Tuesday and donkey paintings that my class have done and our poem to perform are just lovely. Quote

AnonyMouse_6361 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I've got another week to wait yet. I am sooo ready for a break. It's 2 weeks off, then it's only 3 weeks 4 days to until a week off at spring bank. Then the long 7 week slog to a proper 6 weeks holiday (last years was only 5 weeks and 3 days) and hoping that I change jobs ready for Sept 14. Quote
AnonyMouse_6361 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 My Easter holidays have started a day earlier than planned. Although I will pop in over lunch. I have an interview for a job mid morning tomorrow. Looking forward to my 2 weeks off for a well deserved rest. Quote
