Easter 'to do' list

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking maybe, just maybe if I share my list it might concentrate my mind on the matters to be dealt with......

So.......my to do list - looks like this:

Update SEF (I am going to do this honest!)

Type up Staff meeting minutes - check! (I love adding things that I have completed!)

LJ reviews + next step planning for my Key Children

Update PRAMS for all

Prepare Invoices for fee payers - watching out for Bank Hols

Write, type, print newsletter

Make new register

Work on 'places' list for September

Buy resources - hmm - sure this will involve a visit to Staples!

Check that we have all required policy docs (yeah right that's probably not going to happen!)

Hmmm - wonder what I have forgotten

I thought this was called the Easter HOLIDAY!!!

I shall still be working, but we do have fewer children so my list looks similar, but also includes:

  • finish typing appraisals
  • write training plan
  • review planning formats
  • adjust transition policy
  • plan summer event

Oh help!

Posted (edited)

Cup of tea, then:

Tidy all storage

File or discard paperwork not required

Download and print photographs

Put up a nice new noticeboard once delivered

Get appraisal forms ready

Write up supervisions

Compile preschool outing letter for next term

Print off sponsored bowling forms

Look into connections needed for Tapestry( very excited about this one) for September start up

Collate books for book club,

Look at September intake, key groups, home visits

Help at a messy play session

Meet up with friends and family( very very important)

Then back to work we go.

:)

1 more week until the holiday for me but current plans involve sleeping! Haven't been this shattered in ages. Sunnyday, you're comment about putting things on that you had completed made me smile. At Christmas I saw a friend who's 11 year old daughter had just got a phone. She was so excited and took great delight in showing me all it's features. She told me she had a things to do list but didn't really have much on it. I said the secret was to put on things that you were guaranteed to do and suggested breathing. She nodded and said that was why she'd put 'smile' on her list because it was easy to do and she could say check done that!

I loved the idea that smiling was such an easy, guaranteed thing for her and the only thing on her list.

Ooh, just remembered - I'm going in to school to sort out the stationery cupboard. Which doesn't sound exciting but will be very therapeutic and needs doing before the state of it tips me over the edge!

oooh stationery cupboard - quite my favourite sort of thing - will I pop up and help you?

Coffee and walnut please :1b

You're a woman after my own heart! A friend I haven't seen for 18 months called in after school today so I made some scones and treated us to a proper cream tea. I suspect my Easter holiday to do list may also include lots of reading and baking too!

I'm on jury service the whole of the Easter holidays. So that's my break gone .

I'm hoping to catch up on all the reading I should have done and write a zillion lists for next term.

Noooooo :o oh you poor thing - hope I am not tempting fate here but I have never been called........

Oh poor you I would hate to have to do that.

Well it was the first day of the holidays today and I have taken the Quadro apart and used it to build a role play shop and a snack bench. I have also updated the photo album. So a good start!!

Need to tidy cupboards, update learning journeys, plan for the first week back, tweak set, try and set up a website and maybe try and switch off for a while!!
