MA?

Has anyone starred or finished a masters qualification?

After completing my PGCE 2 years ago I said I'd do it and shoved it to the back of my mind, but now I'm working in FE/HE teaching I sort of 'need' to do it, and, to be honest, I am quite excited about studying again, so long as I can find some time.

The time is the big thing - it will have to be a part time/distance learning thing and although I am now teaching in FE/HE I def want to stick with EY and not teaching and learning. I already have 60 credits, if the university will APEL them, from my PGCE.

So any suggestions of where or words of advice? All comments gratefully received!

Edited to say: I'm North West based, near Manchester but non-driver so public transport friendly locations preferred!

I've been looking at a long distance MA with University of Plymouth. They do a personal development early years masters for which you choose your own research topics based on what you are interested in, sounds good but am I brave enough?

max321 that's my thought! Feel like I'm making a huge leap although my sister keeps telling me I'm not. I've got EYPS and QTS so really the only place to go is MA. My sister has done masters and doctoral study so I've been getting advice from her today. Apparently the way to do it is not think too far ahead!

Thanks everyone else. Think I am going to contact my uni where I did PGCE and go through them as we have a lot of common beliefs and ethos so I'll let you know how I get on - assuming they accept my application of course!

max321 looks like we could be about to start a trend here! I'd like the idea we could all be virtual study buddies though - think I'm going to need someone to keep me going.
