We are looking to recruit a deputy manager to cover maternity leave. The maternity leave cover would last approx. 9 months (starting in July). After which the successful candidate would be offered a Playworker role. There would be further opportunities to deputise in the absence of the manager/deputy manager (deputy manager rate of pay to apply in these instances). Level 3 childcare qualification as well as experience working within a childcare setting are essential, leadership experience would be beneficial. We are looking for an energetic knowledgeable person who is capable of supporting the manager day to day and running the setting in the absence of the manager. Salary:£9.00-£9.50 per hour depending on qualifications for deputy manager role£6.80 per hour for playworker role Hours: Term time hours would be 22 ¼ per week (to include breakfast and after school club shifts) plus some additional admin hoursSchool holidays 20+hours per week (full time hours could easily be achieved in the school holidays) Food hygiene, first aid and safeguarding training essential.
