Guest Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Hi a strange question but I have been out of KS1 for a while and been in a Nursery school. I have got an interview for a KS1 job and have to teach literacy or maths. I want to make sure I pitching at the right level so what to ensure objectives are well matched to the abilities of the children. Last time I taught in KS1 we were using the primary national frameworks for the objectives and sequence of teaching. is this still the case as I noticed it was now archived? If it isn't the right place to look where might I find the latest? Are the latest objectives etc in the new primary curriculum? Thanks
AnonyMouse_79 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I'm out of date on that issue too but the maths curriculum is one of the changing areas, although the frameworks were archived when the government changed! There is a pitch and challenge document. I liked the planning on Bedfordshire maths site, but not sure what is still available. Good luck with your interview.
Guest Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Thanks for that. I will look for the Bedfordshire site,
