Guest Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Hi there, Does anyone know where I can buy 100 A4 laminating pouches for a good price? Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Don't know about a good price (I've no idea how much they cost in the shops) but eBay (of course!) have them on, averaging around £5 + £5 P&P. Don't know if that's any help. Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Never thought of ebay before! But I get mine from Robert Dyas - sometimes they are on special offer at £9.99 for 100 but full price they are £12.99 for 100, which I found were cheaper than anywhere else. Unless of course someone knows differently! Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Thanks guys, I overheard a conversation at a course recently about laminating pouches, and I'm sure I hear £5 for 100 A4, but typically I can't remember where they said. Quote
AnonyMouse_747 Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 I use www.euroffice.co.uk for my office supplies. Can't remember exact price for laminating pouches, but I buy mine from there and they are very reasonable. Glue sticks are very cheap from them as well. Free delivery with orders over £30 and next day delivery Glen Quote
AnonyMouse_379 Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 I order pouches online from the consortium L Quote
AnonyMouse_4544 Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 (edited) It depends on the type and weight you wants to use but A4 150 microns are about £6 from here http://www.euroffice.co.uk/home.asp usually I buy mine at tesco if I run out Edited November 5, 2005 by MARl0N Quote

AnonyMouse_1027 Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Can anyone tell me the best place to get an a2 sized poster laminated?? Quote
Guest Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Angel125, I just got a good deal on laminators from a company called NEAT ideas. FREE Laminator when you buy 4 X 100 boxes of pouches. £39.56 + VAT. The laminator is small and light, and the pouches don't need carriers to go through the laminator. I also got a free personal CD player with the order. Phone 0800 316 4004 or www.neat-ideas.com. I also use viking for my supplies. Hali, I think Staples do laminating but not sure if they do up to size A2. Peggy Quote

Guest Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I bought a tesco value laminator for £14.97 and I get 50 mixed sizes for £3.00ish. Lasted me 2yrs already and when I laminate, I laminate everything that isn't stuck down. Net x Quote
Guest Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Hi net, DO you get your laminating pouches from Tesco as well, thats a fantastic price if you do. Quote
AnonyMouse_4145 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Only thing to be careful of when buying laminating pouches is how thick they are... I bought an a3 laminator from ebay (they have lots of laminating stuff on there) which came with 100 a3 and 100 a4 pouches which to me sounded pretty good. When they arrived, the pouches were 150 micron thick (or should I say thin) and a bit of a nightmare - especially the a3 ones, they are just too thin and makes them really fiddly. I think i have wasted more a3 pouches getting stuck in the machine, than I have actually been able to use them! the ones at work are 250, and I guess the 200 micron ones are probably ok, but i wouldn't even bother with the 150 micron ones... AnonyMouse_3735 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 must be the make ...the 150 micron I bought are fine, no problems , (you may actually get what you pay for.) I often use the ones specifically for putting in a file and have found these very sturdy in 150. at moment using Viking own brand as they were the quickest to deliver! Inge Quote
Guest Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Hi Angel25, I have no idea what microwhatever but thay work. And yes that is the price. You can get all one size or vary. I am a very big tesco value shopper. They also do a shredder and guillitine. Give them a go. I would rather pay less and have them break after a yr or so than pay expensive and they break after a yr or so. Net x Quote
