AnonyMouse_5664 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Can anyone suggest a maths scheme for Nursery and Reception that they think is good? I know that most people don't like schemes, but I feel we need something to give us a bit of meat in the sandwich, as it were.
AnonyMouse_4869 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I don't like schemes but have used Collins Maths and this is quite nice and can be dipped into (or not) when needed. However, I don't know if it has been updated since we had a change to the curriculum, as I used it pre 2012.
AnonyMouse_5664 Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 Thanks for that!!! We used to use Abacus but we only have old materials.
Helen Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I've been impressed with the BEAM resources- you can search their products here 1

Guest Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 We use big little maths. The concepts are great and the children enjoy the lesson but most importantly make progress
AnonyMouse_5664 Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 Is that the one published by Andrell written by Ben Harding?
