I don't seem to be able to quote any more - any ideas anyone? Could it be a browser thing? me!

Argh... the no quote syndrome .... alas, that's when it all started going wrong for me on the laptop..

1st - no quotes

2nd- no 'recent posts'

.... I dispair, I have migrated to the iPad - but I hate it for reading and interacting on forums :-( ... And I can't do many smilies on here- just the b) and another that I've forgotten :-)

Everything on my must do school list is done! Still tons of stuff on the 'would like to do' school list but I'm am officially off work from now until the 5th September! Off to Ashbourne show with mum, dad and my nephew and niece today then starting lots of painting and clearing the downstairs rooms ready for plasterers. Got to get practising for the biscuit scene too - have been researching possible biscuits!

I can't quote either nor see recent posts. Its very disorientating like trying to find my way round the forum in the dark without the recent posts function.

Oh, and if someone is offering a spread sheet yes please my life runs so much better with spreadsheets to keep me on track! ;)

Yes! Very disorientating - I thought it was just me, and that my cat had done something to the settings ( she like to lay across the keypad)

I've had to start using the iPad- but I'm not a great lover them or actually interacting on the forum on it :-(

Oh I am so jealous - I'm nowhere near finished with the old 'to do' list..........

Don't get me wrong - it's not actually finished in fact I haven't tackled any of the bigger, need time to think about jobs this holiday. It's more a case of I've finished with it - I've switched my school e-mail off and refuse to look at it again and have done enough to get me through the first week. I find I need to declare myself 'done' at some point each holiday or it's always at the back of my mind and I never really switch off properly.

Sue - I know that feeling well. At one point I started a master to do list in the back of the notebook where I did my daily to do lists - it only ever got longer not shorter!

Today I've tackled the nice things to-do - coat peg labels, name cards, children's folders, snack time names etc

Love doing those things but ...

Policies

Sef

Committee Review

Business Plan etc, etc, etc ..

Not even started, feeling very depressed now I've done the 'nice' things!

This holiday has gone way too fast, my to do list was ermm non existent for a change.

Well unless you class trying to clean at least one room in the house (major fail working on 4 rooms at once is not a good idea  ),

get new work trousers (yes got them) and new ballet kit (still not got back to ballet on Monday whopps)

oh and get my GCSE Science result (got that yesterday B) ).

This morning's mantra:

I will get on with my policy updates today, I will get on with my policy updates today, I will get on.......

Sunnyday - you can do it!

I have moved the contents of downstairs upstairs, stripped wallpaper and thrown 'stuff' out. Plasterers arrive tomorrow (I hope!) for 3 days - I'm going out! ;)

This morning's mantra:

Yada Yada Yada xDxDxD

My mantra this morning was see the accountant (he says it must be so much more convenient for me to see him in the holidays - obviously seeing him is not work!!!!!) and then crack on with the SEF update (mammoth job that certainly doesn't do it for me) and tackle the changes to SEN documentation generated by new code of practice.

Saw the accountant because I had to and then was distracted by a friend who insisted on a coffee - so it's now 4pm and I've done very little again and I'm obviously on here because I just so want to look at the SEF again NOT !!!!!!!!!!!

Can't quite get over how quickly it's gone, and most particularly how quickly the past week has gone! Haven't got as ready as I wish to yet, been too tied up with non work related stuff, but need to get it sorted tonight and tomorrow, definitely do not want to be doing anything Sunday!

The holiday has 'flown' by - I never seemed to 'settle in' to it and now it's back to work time!

Agree - I think it's because I have no office at work ALL paperwork is done at home so therefore you never really 'switch off' from it - it constantly sits there all the time :(
