AnonyMouse_1469 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Can anyone help? 'Someone' was looking for a file on my computer and decided that he didn't like the layout as he couldn't find the file. So, 'someone' decided that he would change them around for me. I had them in alphabetical order, as that's what suits me. I can't figure out how to put them back in one single column, in alphabetical order. My pc is elderly and cantankerous and I am ready to kill......either the pc, or the 'someone' who did it. please help Quote
AnonyMouse_19109 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Not sure if this will help but if you go to the 'documents' folder, you should find "arrange by" - if you click on it, you will have different options: - folder - date modified - name - type - tag. Don't kill though, if my suggestion does not help the 'someone' should be able to help if alive... I believe if you click on 'name' you should recover the files as you wish. Quote
AnonyMouse_26037 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 You might also need to change what you're looking at by clicking on View and then choosing 'details' which should get things into a single column for you. Good luck! Quote
AnonyMouse_14268 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Just wondering if he has been murdered and are we going to see you on the UKs most wanted?? Hope you have it sorted, speaking as someone who does not like things to be changed I completely understand the need to kill!! Quote
