AnonyMouse_3139 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I could have sworn I'd answered this... Anyway, what I said was along the lines of, raid your local post office. We used to do it and then photocopy the forms etc.
Guest Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I visited my PO during half term; they said they couldn't give me much, but gave me a whole bundle of stuff! On a similar posting recently, someone said they bought 100 1p stamps for the children to use: I will be doing this when I set up my PO in a couple of weeks time.
Guest Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Hi there CBeebies have a great site with envelopes for folding and sticking, stamps with characters on them, writing paper etc, all based around the Postman Pat theme. I have also photocopied stamps for the children to cut out and use - not entirely legal Im sure but it was good fun. G.
Guest Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 If you have a sewing machine try sewing in lines down and across gummed paper with no thread. You can use these for stamps Sue
Guest Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 try this link Good resources FREE. signs, cards, passports etc includes some story characters which are a bit stereotypical but overall a good resource and delivered very quickly. Peggy
