Rosh Hashana

Recommended Posts

was going to ask the same question sunnyday - we only celebrate with the religions we have - at the moment that is christian, chinese and polish so those will be the celebrations we will be covering.

our eyst (lovely lady) said it isn't really relevant to be covering every celebration as it will mean nothing to any of the children.

we also don't go mad with these celebrations - usually a small chat about it and put books, pictures and bits on our interest table covering this.

ooops no of course not - but we will be following their celebrations - eg they celebrate christmas differently in poland and obviosly chinese new year - been a busy day today ,my only excuse :o)

heehee just being cheeky really...i knew you knew! worth checking what the families do though too if you get a chance. I knew a bit about christmas in Russia but my Russian family last year said they did not celebrate because they had never been given the opportunity under the political regime...she knew nothing about the Christmas nativity or any celebrations attached to it!
