AnonyMouse_39592
As a school we have started RWi this year. Logistically its been hard work, but already seeing the benefits. My Question is : when your children are learning set 1 sounds, where do they do their writing bit. We have been photocopying the relevant page of the book - but this seems excessive? Does anyone have a phonics book(?) for each child and only write the relevant letter in the corner/middle of the page ?? and then use one page a day? Any RWi schools out there ?? AnonyMouse_39069
We send the photocopy sheet home each day, during the daily session the children each have a scrap book to use when we get to the writing part.
BenTapestrySupport
We photocopy the sounds they have been learning that week and send them home on the Friday altogether. We have also split the 'phonics' session into 2. Speed sounds before snack, then letter formation after snack.
