AnonyMouse_468 Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Next week is National Anti-Bullying week which our school is taking part in, ending in "Blue Friday" on the 25th when everyone comes in dressed in blue (not as a fundraiser, but simply to raise awareness). There are several activities for the various age groups - primary and secondary - that are downloadable on the website. http://www.anti-bullyingalliance.org/ However I am lacking in ideas of how to introduce this to my Nursery class. Can anyone suggest any stories that could link with anti-bullying? I thought of Elmer, not strictly bullying, but along the right lines. I would really appreciate any other ideas for activities or stories. thanks, Jackie
Guest Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I'm tackling it more from the angle of 'friendship' with my children: playing circle games, making smiley faces, stories about friends etc.
