Next week is National Anti-Bullying week which our school is taking part in, ending in "Blue Friday" on the 25th when everyone comes in dressed in blue (not as a fundraiser, but simply to raise awareness).

There are several activities for the various age groups - primary and secondary - that are downloadable on the website.

However I am lacking in ideas of how to introduce this to my Nursery class.

Can anyone suggest any stories that could link with anti-bullying? I thought of Elmer, not strictly bullying, but along the right lines.

I would really appreciate any other ideas for activities or stories.

thanks,

Jackie

I'm tackling it more from the angle of 'friendship' with my children: playing circle games, making smiley faces, stories about friends etc. :)
