AnonyMouse_5892 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I was wondering how many EYFS leaders have time out of class to do their baseline data/moderation separately from their PPA time? Would really appreciate it if you could let me know as I haven't had any and have spent hours on this at home.
AnonyMouse_43750 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 We have two FS2 classes, one with a job share, so the three of us have had a day of non contact to discuss/moderate/input our baselines. We have then used a PPA session and a staff meeting as well (still not all finished yet).
AnonyMouse_3307 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I suppose the A in PPA is assessment so would include doing your on entry like any other assessment!? From my experience it's more usually the EYFS lead who has time out for the management role of analysing all the data. Cx 1
Guest Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 as you are millhill, no time out above normal PPA, though we do have a training day this Friday and will be finalising then. We have 'moderated' informally as we have gone along. EYFS lead has leadership time each week, so analysis is done during that (notionally! - doing focussed stuff at school is nigh on impossible!)
