AnonyMouse_2127 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Hi. I am sure that last year someone had put a simple recipe for reindeer poo here. Can anyone help please? Thanks V
AnonyMouse_33773 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I got curious and Googled. There are several recipes there. I also found a rhyme: I woke up with such a scare when I heard Santa call..."Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!"I ran to the lawn, and in the snowy white drifts, those nasty reindeer had left "little gifts". I got an old shovel and started to scoopNeat little piles of "reindeer poop."but to throw them away seemed such a waste,So I saved them, thinking you might like a taste! As I finished my task, which took quite a while,Old Santa passed by and he sheepishly smiled. And I heard him exclaim as he rose to the sky~~~"Well, they're not potty trained, but at least they can fly!" 1
Guest Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 How about llama poo - I have plenty of that, and it's fresh!
AnonyMouse_5970 Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 My delightful dog could find you some fox poo with no trouble at all. It smells lovely... (sorry that's not very helpful, I don't have any poo recipes!)
Guest Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 one could question why you would want to make reindeer poo??????????????????????
AnonyMouse_3139 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I'd make chocolate dough with glitter and dont forget the Reindeer food, oats with glitter :1b
AnonyMouse_3735 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 the ones I have seen are often pre bought chocolate coated nuts or raisins... but local school sold them at Christmas Fair and they were chocolate crispies with a few raisins thrown in.. made with lots of chocolate.
AnonyMouse_2127 Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Thank you all for your suggestions. We made it a few years ago and one mother was heard saying "I've not tasted poo like this before" !!! as she tasted some. I think there was raisins in it but. It was also a bit chewy. It was very yummy for poo !! V
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 btw ive just read an info bit from rspb that says dont put out reindeer food in the garden...apparently not good for the birdies!
AnonyMouse_3735 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) there are bird friendly recipes for the reindeer food.. or if using the standard recipe use edible glitter from a cake food shop or from the cake aisle in supermarket.. which is what we did they were good money spinners this time of year we sold them to parents rather than have children make them Edited December 2, 2014 by Inge
