Bookstart Corner

Hi all,

We are commencing Bookstart Corner in the new year. Would anyone like to share any tips/ suggestions? We are particularly interested in how you "sell it" to Parents. Do you offer one to one or group sessions.

Sorry but unable to help you on this. Our local Children's Centre are coming to our end of term concert so I will ask about this.

Have you googled Bookstart programme, I think there is a tutorial and quiz on there.

Hopefully someone will be along soon with some inspiring ideas.

can i ask (im not a childrens centre) How do you ensure your parents are literate themselves before trying to extend their literacy skills with their children? and do you only offer books in one language?

(just being nosey!!!!)
