Appointment of new Nursery Manager

The Blue Door Nursery, Seaford, is looking to recruit an innovative and dynamic Early Years practitioner to be their new Nursery Manager,

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and continuing development of this large, well-established and popular nursery.

 

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for the person we are looking to recruit, who will have:

 

• A minimum qualification at level 3 (a qualification at level 5 or above would be preferable)
• A proven background of working in teams and leading others
• Sufficient relevant working experience showing continuous professional development
• A clear understanding of the requirements of Ofsted and other regulatory bodies
• A professional ethos that embraces our belief that children learn best when they are playing and having fun
• Commitment to improving Early Years outcomes for all children
• Ambition for their own professional development

 

We are a family owned business registered at Companies House as Dellsop Ltd.

• We offer full day care and education for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years
• There are between 50 and 55 children attending daily with a team of 23 staff
• We achieved ‘Outstanding’ at our last Ofsted inspection (2009) and National Day Nurseries Association E-Quality accreditation during 2014.

Salary

This post will attract a competitive salary with an annual incentive pay award linked to performance review

This is a full-time, permanent position

The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure
