Some time ago I downloaded (from fsf) a really useful document entitled 'Sector age related expectations' (I have attached a copy of this). Although it won't cover children entering Reception who can be 60 months if their birthday is in September so they would be 69+ months when they exit for Yr1. 40 - 60 plus covers this wide band of ages in months.
