Just can't get my brain into gear - can anyone suggest a 'characteristic' for the following?

A little girl (50m) notices that another child (39m) is not wearing an apron at the water trough and says

"Does he need his sleeves pulled up?" She takes him by the hand and leads him to the aprons where she helps him into an apron.

Any thoughts?

Surely this is a thinking skill ...she knows if he puts his arms in the water without pulling his sleeves up he will get wet ...as he has no apron on and the water will wet his non waterproof clothes (do you do a coel for every ob?)

No I don't do CofEL for every ob. Yes, thinking certainly - I suppose 'making links' (and 'cause and effect'?) My brain is on a 'go slow' right now :( . Thank you.

On tapestry :) our AL & P&E portions are way bigger than the C&TC ...I think it's because not all staff are confident in what they're looking for and the other 2 are much easier to make a case for.

Ditto!

Wouldn't it be good to compile a list of examples/observed characteristics on fsf for C&TC that we could use as a reference!

Perhaps I should start a separate thread. I wonder what others think.
