AnonyMouse_40760
Hi everyone, I am not new to EYFS but this year in our very small school (42 children) we have introduced nursery into the EYFS/Year 1, which certainly changes the dynamics of the class. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on planning for three age groups? especially in view of child led planning and next steps Many thanks
AnonyMouse_30147
Hi and welcome. I'd be tempted to plan for them in a similar way to your reception children. Have you looked at abcdoes.com? His objective led planning through continuous provision might be useful in a setting like yours? http://www.abcdoes.com/abc-does-a-blog/2012/07/objective-led-planning/ Are your nursery children full time? Good luck x
AnonyMouse_40760
Thanks for the link to abcdoes... it looks like a good way to move forward. Its a shame that the planning sheets aren't downloadable though. I only have nursery in the mornings then joined by Year 2 in the afternoon
