AnonyMouse_1490
I now have 2 children that also attend a child minder for most of the week.. With their parents permission I gave them a report in all the areas. I asked her if we could exchange information. The child minder was not happy to exchange but now she has given me one observation in 1 area for each child. They are both focussed on the negative. Am I expecting too much? AnonyMouse_19762
No you're not expecting too much Have to say that I have had far more luck with Info sharing with childminders than I have with other pre-schools/nurseries
AnonyMouse_11396
No you are certainly not. It clearly states within the EYFS to work with other provisions for the benefit of the child you both care for. Of the ones returned to us some have shown differences in stages of development, from what we have assessed them to be at.
AnonyMouse_14268
We too are struggling with receiving info from childminders, but have to say the nurseries are fab for sharing information.
