Guest Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 we have PPA time in our first school and our head is very clear that we must have it(I am a Nursery teacher) However he is also very clear that if a training day or holiday or meeting falls on our Day we are not given another day instead.We loose our PPA that week
AnonyMouse_1195 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Marion you are entitled to your 10% by law. It is part of your contract of employment now and your HT cannot say there is no money. Providing cover is his problem. I would go and have a talk with him after getting advice from the Union. The union will guide you in what to say. If he still doesn't give you any then the union will act for you. Good Luck
