Guest jhclare Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Hi Everyone, I have been selected for an interview for an early years phase leader role. Part of the interview is to do a 10minute presentation on how I would lead the early years to excellence, what are the non- negotiables and where I would start to ensure maximum impact... I have some ideas but yours would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance! Jenny
Guest Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I guess it depends on what the EYFS is like at the school you are going to.
AnonyMouse_3307 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Use the statutory framework to underpin what is in the Ofsted framework, not the other way round! Also I always like to hear what real difference a candidate has already made - not just what they think they're going to achieve but examples of their current impact on standards etc. upcoming issues are baselines (obviously!) but deregulation of EYFS provision for under 3s in schools, maintaining the stat EYFS after EYFSP goes, EYPP for starters. Excellence in a time of change! Cx
