AnonyMouse_11396
What are your learning objectives for this. Just throwing some ideas out there. Making masks, colours mixing, patterns, dancing, carnival music, how carnivals are different in each country. Ooh make drums, there are lots of great ideas on a site from Australia, will try to find it. Carnival of the animals. It's called " child's play music" . Guest
There are lots of children's dance clips on you-tube - we have used this one in the past for Zumba, also 'milksahake' dance We used clips from the Rio film to show children what a carnival procession looks like, made shiny poms-poms and danced around the outdoor area, making a lot of noise on our home-made instruments. We had a lot of fun making everything shiny, sparkly and bigger than life during the week! edit sorry, took link off as it wasn't working properly - put zumba for kids into google and you'll find lots!
