Planning For Nursery Rhymes

could anyone help please or point me in the right direction.I have a friend who is doing her PGCE and has to plan a topic for a nursery on Nursery Rhymes and I am trying to find her some examples.Anyone know of any?Thank you in anticipation .

Sounds like a lovely topic to do. I dont have any planning already done for this topic but I wondered if she be able to adapt the sample planning available on a couple of websites such as hamilton turst or norfolk lea (they do one on toys which might give some ideas)

I immediately thought of Humpty Dumpty, Little Miss Muffett etc..

Belair do a book called Rhymes which has some lovely photographs and ideas set around particular rhymes such as Little Miss Muffett, Miss Polly had a dolly. I am sure it will be a really exciting topic once her imagination gets fired up.

This is my planning from the autmn(2) term last year- for a mixed reception/ year 1 class.

 

I loved doing this topic- it worked so well in the role play corner.
