AnonyMouse_66453
Hello all, I just need a little advice:- would a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care count towards a Level 3 practitioner? I will be conducting interviews shortly and one applicant is due to complete their level 3 having already completed a level 2 in health and social care. Would I regard her as qualified or unqualified and therefore will I need to make it clear I expect her to complete a Level 3 in childcare as part of her CPD? Many thanks for any advice you have. AnonyMouse_19920
i dont think health and social care counts as a qualification - if you use the qualification checker that will give you the best answer.
AnonyMouse_7227
No health and social care doesn't count as a relevant qualification for early years BUT if she is working towards a level 3 in the relevant subject I would count her as unqualified and working towards that. AnonyMouse_66453
Brilliant, thought so but needed to be sure. I suppose by knowing she has completed a level 3 course shows she can work at that standard. Many thanks
