AnonyMouse_4562 Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Hi, Just wondering how many meetings others settings have with parents during the academic year and how many target sheets you share? Do you do action plans or is this something that a childminder is more likely to do? Thanks Green Hippo x
AnonyMouse_19920 Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 (edited) we try to have a chat with parents each half term but as the learning stories are finished each term the parents come in and chat with the key person - the next steps are also discussed with the parent and a copy of these are given to them at this time. we would also chat to parents if they asked for a meeting at any time during the year and we would also ask for a meeting with a parent if we had concerns with their childs development and how we and the parents could support the child in this area as well as discuss the possibility of bringing in other agencies . AnonyMouse_14268 Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 We have an informal drop in morning every term. Parents look at learning journeys and chat to their key worker. It's a really nice morning.
