Supporting Dual Settings

We are looking to enhance our transitions between dual settings and wondered what other nurseries put into place to support their children.

Suggestions?

I don't understand why parents think that different approaches would be good (e.g. a bit of Montessori alongside what we do). I suggest that parents choose one setting, unless they need two for work reasons. If the child only has one year at preschool, why not providing as much stability and continuity as possible - reducing transitions in a child's life before the next big one, which happens so soon after the transition into preschool? I'm happier with the child being elsewhere and not getting the income.
