Guest Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I will let the children decide BUT I am starting a new class with a new 'Barnaby Bear' and wondered what names you have for your 'bear that goes home' with the children, if you have one! Quote

AnonyMouse_19920 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 reminds me of when we got a kitten when my son was young - we asked him to name her - his reply was his favourite tv programme at the time - "jamie and the magic torch" needless to say we didn't call the kitten that and settled for "jess" lol Quote
AnonyMouse_39602 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Oh I used to love that programme too singing the theme tune now in my best rock voice ! Quote
AnonyMouse_23964 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 We have 'Flip' the bear. No idea why?? It's always been called that. Quote
Guest Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) We have 'Flip' the bear. No idea why?? It's always been called that. I like that. Ideally, I would like to have a name that is unlikely to be used as a child's name, so 'Flip' would be good. Any other ideas welcome! Thanks for all your thoughts everyone. :1b Here he is - thought you might like to meet the 'bear with no name'! Edited August 20, 2015 by Guest Quote

AnonyMouse_23964 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Our bear Flip has an interesting life. We realised it was a very masculine bear, so next time it appeared, it was as his twin sister Bella who arrived with her backpack!! The children love it and it is one of the few things that we manage to engage most parents with. 2 Quote
