So despite a long six weeks and being continually let down by the landscapers , a great local firm came to the rescue on Thursday and started work on Saturday and the garden design ( I ditched the original plan and presented my ideas on the back of an envelope !) and our fundraising over the last year has gone towards creating a whole new world in our garden. ?post-39602-0-07025500-1441733255_thumb.jpgpost-39602-0-46338500-1441733309_thumb.jpgpost-39602-0-01628800-1441733396_thumb.jpgpost-39602-0-01628800-1441733396_thumb.jpg

Ooh this looks lovely - we started our little allotment 2 years ago (not as posh as this one) and it can be quite a thrill when things self set from the composted waste we generate.

In our first year we had so many self set tomatoes that we made loads of green tomato chutney which we then sold at Christmas to raise more gardening £s. This year we have a self-set pumpkin which is quite large - at least as big as the ones you get around Halloween time in the supermarkets - it's turning orange now so lots of fun to watch the progress.
