Guest Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Hi all, We have had a new child start with us who is potty trained, however she is only 18 months old and we have no toilet training facilities in her room. the room for the over 2 year olds have a toilet and we have been taking her to that room to use the toilet, however, it is quite a walk and leaves a ratio issue. We have been talking about whether it is appropriate to move her to the next room although emotionally she is not ready. or whether we should have a lidded potty for the room to use however this will have its own issues of emptying, cleaning and privacy. It is currently not possible to put a toilet in her room because of no wastepipe near the room. Anyone have any suggestions?
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 have you tried a port-a-potty...you could then dispose of the waste in your nappy bin. I can't really see privacy is a problem if the other children are being changed in that room too.
