AnonyMouse_19782
We had ours in July, as Rafa has said, adult led activities, EAL, and safeguarding. Good luck
AnonyMouse_25678
I've been told they will want to track the progress of any SEN, EAL, funded 2yr olds, EYPP and 'gifted'. Staff need to understand British values and risk assessment. Good luck x

AnonyMouse_16163
Hi louby loo The Prevent duty Departmental advice for schools and childcare providers June 2015 Staff training The statutory guidance refers to the importance of Prevent awareness training to equip staff to identify children at risk of being drawn into terrorism and to challenge extremist ideas. The Home Office has developed a core training product for this purpose – Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent (WRAP). There are a number of professionals – particularly in safeguarding roles - working within Local Authorities, the Police, Health and Higher and Further Education who are accredited WRAP trained facilitators. We are working to build capacity within the system to deliver training. Individual schools and childcare providers are best placed to assess their training needs in the light of their assessment of the risk. As a minimum, however, schools should ensure that the Designated Safeguarding Lead undertakes Prevent awareness training and is able to provide advice and support to other members of staff on protecting children from the risk of radicalisation. We recognise that it can be more difficult for many childcare providers, such as childminders, to attend training and we are considering other ways in which they can increase their awareness and be able to demonstrate that. This advice is one way of raising childcare providers‟ awareness. Edited September 24, 2015 by manor

AnonyMouse_3307
Really recommend everyone reads the current Ofsted handbook - all the answers to what is being evaluated are in there. No need to guess or worry about second hand info. Cx Edited September 25, 2015 by catma
AnonyMouse_19920
the lady was lovely - she wasn't there to catch us out like they used to be and just wanted us to promote ourselves. she tracked a funded two year old and asked about our eypp children (none at the moment but said how we had supported the ones that left in the summer) also lots of safeguarding but absolutely nothing on british values and prevent and we were so ready too. spoke lots to two newish staff - especially about safeguarding, next steps and planning. also asked to see dbs list of staff and committee - didnt look at staff files or training all in all a positive experience and we are happy with our result.
