Sickened By Tv News!

Hi all, :o

Just needed to have a rant!

I only caught the news about the three yr old girl who was abducted and raped by three men yesterday evening. I felt physically sick and had a good cry and then went to kiss my 2 and a half year old while she slept. What sick depraved people!

Thank God she survived. here's hoping she isn't too pyshologically damaged poor little girl! My heart goes out to her and her family.

It's difficult to know what to add mottie. I'm sure you speak for many of us.

I do hope the family are getting excellent support because I think they'll need it!

The only other positive I can draw from it - apart from her survival - is the sense of balance it brings. When I'm stressing about all the regulations, inspections etc it's a timely reminder of why it's necessary and spurs me on to do better for the little ones I care for.

Oh my God! :oxD

That poor child and her family. How can anyone do that! That's just sick :(

I agree with weightman though, news like that makes you desperate to ensure that all the children you're caring for are safe.
