Ofsted Inspection Reports - how long do they take?

Recommended Posts

Are you the nominated person Honey, as that's who they send the report to. Just checking as those of us who are committee led are often affected by this. It goes to the nominated person, who is often a committee member, and they then just "assume" that we have also been sent a copy, which we in fact have not!

Good point for reference. Just me here though.

This is a sore point for us. Our last inspection in May was fine and report arrived in about 10 days. The previous one...72 days and a LOT of phone calls to Ofsted. They said they were waiting for information from Prospect. Prospect couldn't tell us what the information was. We went round in circles for weeks. There was nothing unusual about the inspection, no real issues and we got 'Good' so I never did find out what caused the hold up!

Had our inspection 2 weeks ago and our report was 2 weeks to the day! We are committee led and the report was emailed to the preschool email too, the nominated person first receiving notification that this was going to happen!
