Thought I'd share this with you :Dwww.primaryict.info/early_years

Has a variety of resources, including documents on supporting literacy and maths through role play and maths rhyme cards. Also carries links to other sites.

Thanks from me too. Some of the links are very good too-especially the one for activity village. It has some very good ideas.

I've got this poem called My frosty face which has a couple of clip art pics of a snowman melting, I suppose you could add a 3rd pic of just a puddle :D:o

...............Ah but will we then spend more time on those sites and less time on the forum????????

I promise Steve, I won't, but it is a good idea for a one stop shop, a place to find all of the useful sites. :D

actually though, when I see a site I like the look of, I follow the link thenI add it to favourites or if there is not a link I copy and paste the web address into my notepage with the intention of looking it up later. I don't often have time to visit them all, being a hoarder, I must have about 50+ addresses but having got so many, I don't know what I've got :oxD

Hi -

It's one of my ongoing goals to create a links page that people can add to (think you've nagged me about this before Peggy! :) )

The original links page I set up was created from people's recommendations, but so many ended up being suggested that I lost the plot and haven't updated it for ages. I will get round to it sometime this year - hopefully sooner rather than later - but in the meantime it would be good not only to have people's recommendations of good websites, but also to have some discussion of categories that I could set up for the sites to be recommended in!

Come to think of it, if we can agree a list of categories, I could set up a number of sub-forums for you to post your recommendations into. That way we wouldn't keep having to hunt them out!

Oooh, yes!!

A forum would be great!! My husband keeps going spare at the ever increasing list of favourites - and I have trouble finding what I want in it, because I haven't organised it and will never have time, the way things are going!!

I hope its not too late but I notice that the northumberland lea webpages have nursery rhymes which you use on your white board or print and sequence the pictures.

Hi Nat and welcome to the forum. I've edited your post to take out the very long quote from Peggy. xD

There are 2 ways of replying in a thread. You can either hit 'add reply' at the bottom of the page. If you are replying directly to someone you can hit the reply button beneath the post in question, which then quotes that persons post in your reply. If you click on this by mistake you can either delete all the text or just hit the back button your browser and click on the reply button at the bottom. I hope this makes sense!! :o
