Interestingly enough I had a first aid supplies cataloge sent to me this week and I noticed the alcohol free wipes - when I go in tomorrow I will get the name and number although I am sure the chemists must do these - depends on how many you need I suppose.

Thanks for your reply Nicola.

I think I had the same catalogue which prompted me to ask. I was thinking more of something to wipe children's faces with rather than from a first aid point of view, someone once told me you could get them in a supermarket. At the moment we just use a tissue and good old water to wipe faces (chocolate, paint etc).

Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy some alcohol free cleansing wipes?

Thank you in anticipation!

I agree with Deb, on 3 counts

1. less cost

2. less chemicals

3. less non degradable packaging

Maybe I'm having a dense moment here but could you not use baby wipes?  :o

Maybe I'm the one who's being dense! I thought we weren't allowed to use normal baby wipes, but now I'm wondering if perhaps that is just in relation to first aid (it was on a first aid course that we were told to use alcohol free wipes). Boy do I feel silly!

Do you use ordinary or fragrance free?

I certainly wouldn't use a baby wipe to clean a wound. Good old water is the best for that, although the individually packaged wipes are ideal if you were out and about. You can get wipes for sensitive skin which I guess would be your safest option. :)
