AnonyMouse_4562
Hi, We've had a few things for out outdoor Area built out of pallets including our long anticipated mud kitchen. However it all needs treating. What would you recommend? Thanks Green Hippo xxx
AnonyMouse_3735
For my at home pallet makes I use a garden paint..there are several makes out there in many colours.. we tried preservatives and other stuff but found the paint worked better for us.. Ours was a Wilco one and has been excellent at coverage and protection, and I can wipe it down to get it clean.. Found that one was better than the Cuprinol one. AnonyMouse_5970
Yes, I'd go with that too. You're not supposed to use creosote anymore. What did you have made? I'd like to make a bug house out of pallets but we have to finish our bottle greenhouse first! Edited November 12, 2015 by Stargrower
AnonyMouse_4562
Thanks. We've had a mud kitchen, a welly rack, a book rack, platforms for stage/transient art, a story tellers chair. I haven't seen them yet so we might not have them all yet. We asked s parent who is a Carpentry and Joinery tutor at the local college.
