Hello all

My darling husband has decided he might like Santa to bring him a coffee machine for Christmas not the full barista style you understand but one of these machines you put the pods in

So, I like the look of the Krups one that takes the Dolce Gusto pods .... Anyone got one? Any good?

If you have one what do you have and would you recommend it?

Thanks in advance xx

I bought my husband a Tassimo a few years ago because he was the only one who drank coffee in our house and he works away a fair bit so the ground coffee goes stale.

It is the best present I've ever bought him. He loves having fresh coffee, our daughter loves a bambinochino and frothy coffee

always goes down well with visitors.

If we are having lots of people here, I buy ground coffee and use the cafetiere because that many pods can get a bit pricey.

Edit to say he's now on his second machine. He wore the first one out!

I've been looking at the Tassimo machines for my husband too - there's a huge price difference though, today I've seen one for £120.00 which said 'suny' on the box and then in Tesco there's one at £49.50 which said 'fidelia'

does anyone know what is the difference between all the styles??

go to Argos site they have both on there and you can compare them.. cannot see much difference to be honest.. other than looks.. both are on offer in there at the moment..

I bought my husband a Tassimo a couple of years ago. We all love it but found the pods quite pricey but very tasty. It has been up in the loft for a year because of this, but think it maybe time to get it down and dust it off!! I would definitely recommend the machine.

We were bought a Tassimo machine about 6 Christmases ago and the novelty wore off after a while I must admit! The pods are expensive but you can get deals on group on and supermarkets often have them on offer. I sold it a few years ago and I now use a pour over and a cafeterie cup but then I just drink my coffee black these days. I think if I was going to a coffee machine now it would be one that grinds beans.

Krups/Dolce Gusto all the way - currently have Caramel Chococino pods! They have a good range of drinks, including iced ones, that you can't find in shops on their web site and are always emailing offers.
