elf on the shelf challenges

Yes our elf has been helping in that way too, he's about to come back from the north pole to say that Santa is running out of wrapping paper and could they make him some to take back.

He's already taken letters, and really ought to have taken a biscuit as we made those on Thursday and Friday - darn it, will remember that for next time!

Each morning he hides and they have to hunt for him, they know I know where he is some of the time and I can give them clues, it's good fun. He also watched as they tidied up on Friday after "discussing" with me in front of the children who should do what - works a treat! Didn't have to say anything about him telling Santa anything negative - and wouldn't have done anyway.

He's going to suggest they play the reindeer carrot game which was on here a couple of years ago, we have a large picture of a reindeer - well I say it's a reindeer, I drew and painted him, and cut out his mouth for them to feed carrots through - so, Dasher likes 3 carrots, but Dancer likes one less etc.

He's also going to play the glitterball game, 2 christmassy cups, 1 die, and a lot of those glittery foam balls, roll the die, put that many in your cup, first to finish etc., they will be playing against "Elfie" - that's his name by the way!

Seen a post on Pinterest with elf size donuts made from Cheerios with chocolate and sprinkles! Think he will have to bring in the big size ones for staff that day....
