Guest Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Does anybody have a leaflet/publication that they share with parents with regards to typical speech, language and communication? I am looking at a generic leaflet I can share with parents Many thanks
AnonyMouse_24823 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Have a look on the ICAN website. They had some printable ones for different age groups (designed for parents) last time I looked. You can also order a poster/ leaflets with expected language development across the age bands from the same place. 2

Guest Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I like 'Small Talk' available through the Communication Trust (just Google). It is available to buy (£2.99) or download for free.
AnonyMouse_16163 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Hi mjbyford I have used this leaflet from the ICAN website. Talk together 2010.pdf 1
Guest Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I would agree that ICAN resources are good - have used them for a wall display about how language develops at different ages/stages and what parents can do to support this. Our local authority also did a load of weekly tips a few years ago when ECAT was first launched, so we had a new idea for parents each week to put on the noticeboard.
